: A Field Service Engineer is required to cover the area of Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire on a rolling contract basis. You will be travelling to various sites in these areas providing general 2nd line infrastructure support. You will be repairing and maintaining hardware and software from a variety of vendors. Ideally you will have one of the following qualifications MCSE, Cisco CCNP or a Citrix qualification. You can be based from home and the work itself is standard hours Monday to Friday, however, you need to be willing to be on call one week a month. Driving is an integral park of this position so you need to have your own car and be willing to drive about 600 miles per week. The rate for this position is completing negotiable, however, it is likely to pay GBP 15.00 - GBP 30.00 per hour + mileage + retainer/on call rate.
