A global Film media company is seeking a qualified Financial Controller to lead their fast-paced finance team and implement and maintain tight financial controls within the business. Duties will include the review and sign off on the UK Group monthly management accounts, including the monthly Flash and variance analysis to budget. You will be required to provide detailed financial information and liaise with CEOs locally and overseas when required and prepare the UK group's annual budget. Monitoring and controlling UK expenditure and maintain the company's pension scheme. You will also review and approve all the draft Production Budgets before they are sent to external parties and provide the necessary assistance to all production accountants. Provide detailed financial information to the Company Tax Advisors to allow them to prepare and file Tax Returns for the UK Group companies annually and to the Company Auditors to allow them to prepare and file Statutory Annual Accounts. Other duties include the review of the UK group debtors on a monthly basis; supervise salary payments and all payroll returns with some additional tasks for senior management. Our client requires an excellent communicator with a thorough knowledge and understanding of the production business with advanced Excel skills.
