An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Detection Engineer. Our client is a world leader in FireProtection and is fast developing the Detection side of the industry. They have a number of branches across the UK andpractice a forward thinking approach to the industry.The successful candidate will be expected to work anywhere within the South East of England from Norwich to Southampton,however approximately 60% of the work will be conducted within the M25. Full support development and training in thefields of Gas suppression, Integrity Testing, Water Mist Production and Sprinkler Control will be given. You will berequired to join a 24-hour call out rota and will have access to vast amounts of over time.Candidates must have or be able to demonstrate the following: City & Guilds Qualified Parts I & II Knowledge of Analogue systems 2 to 3 Experience working within the Fire Detection Industry Servicing and Installation Experience Worked on Gas Suppression Systems Worked on Commercial Contracts Extensive Product Knowledge including systems such as Gent, Morley, Menvier and Hays Serviced and maintained Water Mist Systems Worked on Emergency lighting Hold a Clean UK Driving licenceResponsibilities: To support Gas & Electrics service department Service & maintain Various Fire Detection systems Service & maintain Gas suppression systems Service & maintain Water Mist systems Recommend modifications or extensions Carry out repairs to existing installations Modify existing equipment Service Emergency Lighting Carry out minor installations Provide device test historyCompany Benefits: Pension Scheme Savings related share option 25 Days Holiday Sick Pay Engineer Incentive SchemeOur client is looking for a motivated individual who is looking for job security, development and an interest inimproving their career within the Fire Industry.
