: As Fire Safety Co-ordinator, you shoud have a sound understanding of general fire safety requirements, fire risk assessment and a reasonable knowledge of fire safety legislation. You will lead the Fire Safety Review Group and be accountable to the Emergency Preparedness and Industrial Safety Team Leader for implementing a fire safety policy to meet the requirements of the Fire Precautions Regulations and participate in the Company Fire Safety Management Co-ordination Group. You will co-ordinating the station response regarding fire safety issues, which impact the station and its fire certificate, ensuring adequate assessment of modifications to buildings and/or plant, in particular where an application for a variation to the fire certificate may be required.
