Theycreate education, eBusiness, e-Learning and corporate communications products for clients in the public and privatesectors. Their educational products are in use in schools and colleges throughout the UK and their approach is to makehigh quality educational material which is entertaining. Their e-learning products are fun, engaging and effective andare backed up by first class interactive design and production skills. The Interactive team is made up of 35 people witha young outlook developing products with the emphasis on creativity and quality.ROLE:Flash/Actionscript Developer will be required to:Develop e-learning solutions for high-profile corporate, government and educational organisations.Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and willingness to work with designers and developers as part of a team.Be responsible for the design and development of applications,Ensure current development techniques, designs and best practices are adhered to within their project teams.Review the code of other developers within the team.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSGeneral Skills:Liaise directly with internal and external company/client staffWork to design/script documentsAdhere to recommended coding standardsWrite and document codeProvide senior responsibility and support to project teams and junior staffProvide accurate time estimates for workTechnical Skills3+ years experience within a web/e-learning development environment with knowledge of most of the following:HTMLDHTMLJavaScriptCSSXMLLearning Management SystemsFlashActionscript 2DirectorUnderstanding e-learning technologyRelevant degree an advantagePersonal SkillsThe candidate should have experience of full lifecycle project work and be able to deliver projects on schedule and tothe highest quality standards.Creativity, good teamwork and good communication skills are also essential.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsA creative approach to technical problemsExperience with design and project methodologiesDrive and self-motivationThe ability to handle pressure and meet deadlinesMentoring skills and technical expertise to share within their team and the company as a wholeAt least one developer will need strong Welsh language skillsIn line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work inthe UK or EU.
