Description:

DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:> Manage the entity to provide a high level of customer service, to maximise turnover and profitability> Manage the P&L Account and budgets to meet business objectives> Deliver projects to time and cost to meet business plan expectations> Develop strong relationships with clients to sustain and enhance business growth> Manage relationships with authorities and suppliers to meet the needs of the business.> Plan strategically for purchasing and supply of components to meet market demands.> Purchase products to optimise stocking levels and range of items to best match the forecast requirements to enabletimely supply and minimise the cost of stockholding.> Evaluate manufacturing capability of suppliers and delivery timescales necessary to support demands.> Evaluate changes in patterns of demands to avoid an imbalance of capability to demand.> Research the market demands to project business opportunities> Liaise with the Business Development Management to co-ordinate with activities in the Country> Plan and manage the recruitment, training, development and employment of resources to optimise the capability of theteam and ensure adequate competencies are maintained to meet requirements.> Produce Business Plans and provide accurate Monthly Management reports to review performance.SPECIAL FEATURES:~ The strategies require strategic thinking and wide ranging contacts and suppliers throughout the Country.~ Authority (to commit resources, take decisions)~ Plan and organise to Regional requirements~ Strategic decisions on future requirements with complex inputs and interfaces across the Country~ To select, appraise, assess performance and discipline staff. Authorise training.~ Commit expenditure within budget.REQUIREMENTS/COMPETENCIES:# Degree in a technical discipline relevant to the Company's products# Management qualification and accounting skills highly desirable)# High level of product knowledge# Resource and Capacity Planning techniques for development programmes and manufacturing plants.# Maintain knowledge of appropriate legislation such as Health and Safety etc.# Quality standards and ISO requirements# Reports for Capital Equipment approvals# Employment legislation-key elements# Problem solving capability - (analytical skills, creativity, freedom to think)# Resolving a wide range of supply issues, decide on best options and prioritise to meet Country/Group policy.# Interpreting and finding solutions to market requirementsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:> Managing highly skilled and creative team, developing individual and team capability> Handling motivational, behavioural and disciplinary issues with employees> Liaising effectively with other functions across the Group and adapting to change> Self-motivator with strong drive to meet personal and team targets with good leadership abilities.
