Our client, a fabless semis company developing highly integrated GPS solutions, have a new requirement for a test leadengineer. This is a key role within a newly formed and expanding department, previous test functions had been performedby development engineers.The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for GPS software / system test strategy and be in charge ofbuilding the test team and developing a wide understanding of the GPS system and receiver implementations. Workingalongside their GPS developers to analyse results and identify issues and with customer support engineers to reproducereal world problems in a lab environmentCandidate will have a degree in an engineering subject and have experience of engineering analysis, ideally using Matlabor similar package and experience of strategy definition and knowledge of software and system test techniques. They mustalso have troubleshooting/debug methodology expertise and good C/C++ programming skills. Any knowledge of GPS, scriptinglanguages would be an advantage. |
