RoleOur client is looking for a Civil Engineer to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will be involved withhighways and drainage works for a wide range of projects including industrial relocation sites, residential developments,retail developments, schools, universities etc.An increasing proportion of appointments are multi-disciplinary, and communication skills across groups from variousprofessional backgrounds within the business will be required.Key CompetenciesSkills:Candidates should possess a strong highway design capability, and drainage design experience would be an advantage.Familiarity with Win-Des and with Ground Modelling packages will be beneficial.Qualifications:Initially B Eng Civil Engineering. Alternatively HNC or HNDCandidates should also be working towards chartershipExperience:Graduate with 2 3 years relevant experienceConsideration will also be given to an incorporated technician with 15 years experience.Candidates should possess a working knowledge of the planning and technical approval process for adoptable works and aworking knowledge of DMRB highway design standards and model forms of contract documents. |
