GRADUATE EMC ENGINEER SORT FOR AVIONICS CLIENTOur clients E&EMC team consists of 40 engineers carrying out trials and Evaluations on military aircraft. They are seeking bright graduates to strengthen their team as they have secured a number of high profile projects such as Eurofighter, Joint Strike Fighter, A400M and Future Lynx. As part of the team, your main responsibility will be carrying out EMC trials / assessments to determine an aircrafts susceptibility to Radio Frequency (RF) energy, either from its own transmissions or from external sources such as, radar and communication threats. Particular attention is paid to the susceptibility of aircraft armament systems, flight and engine control systems and aircrew displays. Additionally you will ensure there is sufficient electrical power to supply these systems in all flight conditions, having safe circuit protection to ensure critical systems are maintained for mission effectiveness. You are a keen / enthusiastic graduate preferably of an electrical / electronic engineering discipline, willing to work in a demanding trials environment on a variety of aircraft platforms. You are eager to develop your existing skills through the Empire Test Pilots School (ETPS) Trials Officer training programme and extensive on the job training. |
