RoleThe candidate needs to be keen to join a busy traffic section with development projects both in the public and privatedevelopment sectors. The work primarily involves the planning stage of developments including the preparation of highway,parking and access schemes, leading to the preparation and checking of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans for a rangeof different Land Uses. Some experience of using standard junction analysis programs would be an advantage, as would abackground in catering for the needs of cyclists, pedestrians and the users of Public Transport. Projects could belocated over a wide area of southern England and involve working with other offices in the East and South of England andSouth Wales. Our client fully supports career development and the successful candidate can expect to benefit fromin-house training and selected external courses aimed at their advancement within the traffic section.Key CompetenciesSkills: Sound mathematical, planning or engineering background with some previous involvement in transport relatedprojects.Current Driving Licence.Qualifications: Degree qualified leading to corporate membership of appropriate qualifying bodyExperience: 0 to 2 Years since graduation |
