Click here to view current Electrical / East of England jobs.  Job Details: Title: GSM/EDGE Senior Engineer and Technical Expert Location: Cambridge Salary: GBP 60,000 per year (to GBP 60,000 + bens) Description: 1 Role Senior Engineer and technical specialist, reporting to the project Chief Engineer, with a leading role in thedevelopment and verification of digital mixed mode ASICs for cellular handsets2 ResponsibilitiesTechnical authority on GSM/GPRS/EDGE Layer 1System architecture development, with other specialistsLead GSM/GPRS/EDGE DSP design, implementation and verificationHands-on engineering, leading a small team3 Experience5+ years in digital baseband design for cellular handsetsThorough system knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE Layer 1 and its practical implementationGSM/GPRS/EDGE receiver algorithm development and practical implementation in DSP or dedicated logicTrack record of successful ASIC and handset productsTeam leading experience will be an advantageKnowledge of WCDMA/HSDPA L1 will be an advantage Click here to view current Electrical / East of England jobs.
