Description:

Our client is a very well funded fabless semiconductor start-up developing cutting-edge wireless products. They havealready assembled a world-class management team boasting a track record of successful start-ups and the bringing ofcommercially successful products to market.You will be involved with Chip Design Support, Device Bring-up and Characterisation, Bread Board Design. Design BreadBoards using FPGAs, discrete logic, etc...Support system design, ASIC design and Software development on breadboards.Maintain Bread boards over life-cycle of project development.You will have at least five years experience as PCB level Digital design Engineer working on systems that includeEmbedded CPU. Knowledge of OFDM systems including 802.11 or similar and/or pulse based systems a benefit. Relevantengineering degree essential, Class 2:1 or higher preferred. Experience with FPGA design and embedded softwaredevelopment in #C# essential. Knowledge of Orcad Schematic capture, PADs PCB design, MatLab and/or similar toolsdesirable.
