I am looking to recruit for my client a Head of Project Management excellence. The purpose of the role is to develop, implement and continually improve PMO portfolio, program and project management standards to ensure that all BPI programs and projects are planned, managed and completed to the highest leevl of project management effectivenexx. This includes meeting or exceeding all project requirements including scope, quality, cost, schedule and business benefits.Business Skills and Knowledge:- Business acumen- Customer focus- Business processes (product lifecycle).- Business Systems (SAP, MS Project Enterprise Solution, Mercury, MS Office etc).Experience:- 10 years + successfully completing projects that met, or exceeded, project requirements.- 5 years + successfully developing and implementing portfolio, program and project standards that improved project performance and business results.- IT Experience.- Engineering environment a plus.- Aerospace and Defense industry preferred.Education:- Bachelors degree, MASTERS OR MBA preferred.Strong working knowledge of projects in a controlled environment (PRINCE2), Association for PM (APM) or Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Project Management certification. PMP or APM preferred. |
