The key qualities required for this role are Clear and Concise Communication skills, Energy, Persuasiveness and goodlistening skills. Just as important are excellent qualifications to include a 2.1 or 1st class science/computing orengineering degree from a top university with good A levels or Highers (mostly As and Bs). On the technical side youllneed at least 3+ years C++, C or Java programming experience, 3+ years team leading or management experience &understanding of the full software development cycle.The company sell a number of software products and are THE market leader in their field, the requirement is for a teamleader or manager who can still code (will be about 10% of job) and motivate and lead a team of 12 engineers.
