: This highly progressive and respected engineering consultancy has an existing requirement for a high pressure vessel designer/analyst to provide technical support to new and existing nuclear propulsion plant systems. You will be involved in manufacturing design reviews of steam raising plant pressure vessels, producing and reviewing technical specifications for the manufacture of pressure vessels and associated pipe-work and utilising relevant NDE techniques to compile confidence statements for new and existing pressure vessels. Candidates will possess a minimum of five years relevant experience of high pressure vessel design and analysis to ASME standards. You will have in-depth manufacturing knowledge and experience of pressure vessels and pipe-work to support the writing of technical, manufacturing and inspection specifications. Experience of NDE techniques and inspection of new and in-service pressure vessels and some experience of writing safety cases will also be beneficial. |
