: Exciting opportunity to join a new set up company. The successful candidate will be an HR professional, experienced at providing an efficient and seamless HR service at both strategic and operational levels. This business is still in a project phase, so this role will involve the planning and development of a business from start up to full service delivery. The role will have the opportunity to influence and develop the business so that it moves in the right cultural direction and becomes a high performing operation with a positive culture. The successful candidate will be involved in negotiating and liaising with the Defence Procurement Agency (DPA) and sub-contractors to ensure that the HR solution is robust and meets the harmonisation requirements of the contract. Responsibilities include: With the Commercial Manager, Technical and Operations team negotiate details of the service with the DPA and RAF, to make sure the HR Solution supports the deal. Establish relationships with HR Directors from the Shareholders and in partnership develop succession/redeployment plans for Secondees returning to Shareholders at Financial Close. Manage the succession plans and re-deployment of staff back to Shareholders and support the management team in the consultation process. Collate current terms and conditions of employment of existing secondees who will stay with the project, research and propose remuneration packages and develop a strategy for rolling out T & C's towards Financial Close in collaboration with the Finance team. Develop T&Cs of employment and write contracts. Develop terms of reference for individual posts, carry out a job evaluation exercise and establish a grading system. Set up a Payroll and Money Purchase Pension Scheme. Develop and execute a Resourcing strategy from now to Financial Close and from Financial Close to In Service Date (ISD). Continue to embed a Performance Management culture and monitor and drive the Performance and Development review. Provide an HR Service to the entire team (e.g. General advice and Guidance, Recruitment, induction).
