Working in a dynamic fast changing environment on various military programmes such as large naval platforms, armouredvehicles and aircraft, with expansion into commercial work such as the rail industry and Human Factors research. ASenior/Principal Human Factors Consultant is required to offer support to a number of programmes. Work will involvepractical application of human factors theory, analysis, and design techniques to projects and research work. Skillsrequired will include:- Practical application of several of the following techniques: HCI design, control room design, task analysis, workloadanalysis, human reliability analysis, training needs analysis, HFI in projects.- Knowledge of the practical application of appropriate HF standards.- Appropriate HCI, Ergonomics or Occupational Psychology qualifications, preferably to post-graduate level- Knowledge of Systems Engineering- Knowledge of Project Management / Bid Management- Experience of writing Proposals- Experience in defence projects- M Erg S, or able to achieve such (or higher) within a year- MS Office Skills |
