Required by our Client to undertake commercial and industrial projects in East Anglia and the London areas. Applicantswill be from HVAC or Electrical contracting backgrounds, and must be able to prove successful running of variousprojects.Under the direction of the Manager, and in accordance with laid down standards andsystems, the successful applicant will be required to assume overall contractual and financial responsibility forallocated projects from contract award to end of defects liability period as a minimum, thereby ensuring obligations aremet and a high profile is given to maximising company profitability. The maintenance of good client relationships andliaison throughout the contract is essential to develop good customer relations.Applicants will need to possess the following skills, knowledge & competencies:o An overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of HVAC/electricalsystems and their installation methods.o The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.o Good communication skills, both written and oral.o Good man management and motivational skills.o The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.o Numeracy and literacy skills.o The ability to multi-task and be methodical.o The ability to work unsupervised but also to be an active team member.o The ability to read, interpret and fully understand specifications and drawings.o A pro-active approach to problem solving.o A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.o A good knowledge of all aspects of health and safety within the industry and theability to implement control measures at site level.Salary: Negotiable depending on experience. |
