Description:

Contaminated Land Consultantsour client is an international blue chip company providing of technical support and environmental consultancy to UKGovernment, Government Agencies, Local Authorities and private clients. Currently seeking several key appointments tojoin a rapidly expanding and well-respected environmental consultancy business.Consultant Hydrogeologist GBP 25,000 - GBP 30,000The successful applicant will have a relevant post-graduate degree and 3-5 years experience using models such as MODFLOW,EA proprietary software and RBCA. Knowledge of landfill design, hydrology, EIA, groundwater remediation and groundwatermanagement/control would be advantageous. The applicant will have a varied workload including groundwater risk assessmentand hydrogeological modeling in relation to landfills and contaminated land. They will contribute to the design of siteinvestigations and deliver clear and concise interpretation of model outputs. In addition, the candidate should have asound understanding of the UK environmental legislation relating to contaminated land and waste management.Senior Contaminated Land Consultant GBP 28,000 - GBP 35,000The successful candidate will have a degree and 5 to 10 years experience including Phase I and II site assessments. Inaddition, candidates should have specific experience in one or more of the following areas: human health risk assessment(CLEA), legislation, groundwater risk assessment, remediation or geo technical engineering. The candidate will requireprofessional attitude and an eye for detail, as well as strong, proven technical ability.Contaminated Land Consultant GBP 25,000 - GBP 30,000The successful candidate will have a degree and 3 to 5 years experience working within the contaminated land or siteinvestigation industry. The primary focus will be Phase I and II site investigations and remediation projects. Workingexperience with risk assessment methodologies would be an advantage.In all the above posts we are seeking candidates with good communication, project management, report writing and businessdevelopment skills. Previous experience with an environmental consultancy would be advantageous. The posts also offerexcellent opportunities for further career development.
