Description:

A specialist compliance officer with senior level experience is required within a progressive IFA based in Bristol.Looking specifically after a specialist team whose adviser is heavily involved in technical corporate, investment andpension planning.You will manage the regulatory controls within the function, reviewing existing processes and implementing change whererequired.Managing the relationship with the advisor is paramount and looking forward at the impact of specific FSA changes and howthey will affect practices is another crucial element to the role.Excellent compliance experience from within an IFA is vital, pension / endowment review experience is NOT suitable forthis role. An excellent understanding of investment / pension planning is also essential and you will be able todemonstrate success of communicating regulatory requirements / processes at all levels.
