Our client is a well-established and highly successful manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of home furnishings.Turn-over last year equated to 12.8 billion in Europe alone, 12% from the UK.Our Client is looking to appoint a Store Logistics Manager based in Milton Keynes to maximize sales by securing servicelevel goals, minimise costs by efficient low cost goods-flow processes and secure logistics competence in the Store toensure their position as the best home furnishings retailer in the local market.Positions: To be responsible for securing the logistics competence in the Store and ensure In-Store logistics by securing theVolume/Space/Range relations. To monitor and control the order process and secure routines maintaining basic data quality and efficient Goods-flowthrough the Store and to organise warehouse activities in an efficient way securing optimum services to the Customer. To achieve Commercial Review standards using documentation as a measure and develop and implement the Logistics ActionPlan to achieve the Store and UK Business Plan and Commercial Goals The candidate will report to the Sales Support Manager or Store Manager and will supervise various members of staff atManagement level.The requirements: The successful candidate will have strong management skills, excellent communication skills and customer focus with theability to train and share your knowledge. You will have a highly developed understanding of retail operations with 5-6 years of management experience Computer literacy is essential An interest in home furnishings would be preferable |
