HAVE YOU GOT 2 YEARS+ SOFTWARE/ SYSTEMS EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE AUTOMOTIVE FIELD? THEN WE HAVE THE JOB FOR YOU!Our client seeks a pro-active Software and Systems Engineer with an analytical mind. You will have 2 years+ experience of Requirements Analysis, System Specification, Embedded real time software development in C, Automotive communication systems and System reliability and robustness analysis. Also desirable: Knowledge of software and/or systems engineering for technically advanced product development, use of formal quality procedures, Ford/Automotive product development processes, Vehicle communications systems / Infotainment Domain Knowledge (Radio, Navigation). excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to deliver presentations and good commercial awareness advantageous. ROLE: Capture/manage software and system requirements from automotive customers. System robustness and reliability analysis. Design, develop, test and maintain software to defined quality procedures. Liaise with customer engineers. Define/execute software and system tests, commission software/systems on test bench and in vehicles. Documentation including specs/reports. Occasional UK/overseas travel.
