An opportunity has arisen within a rapidly changing public sector organisation.Reporting directly into the Finance Director and for a 6-9 month fixed term contract period, this role will be extremelyvaried. Duties to include:- Providing overall management of the organisations Budget. Advising budget managers and directors in managing allocated budgets. Authorising significant volumes of transactions Ensuring all statutory accounts and returns represent a true and fair view and meets financial time scales.The successful candidate will be expected to make a major contribution to implementing the financial strategy and policesof the organisation. You will have at least 3 years experience in financial management of a large organisation.Experience with NHS is desirable but not essential although general knowledge of current NHS issues is essential.
