Our client is a major player in the contract logistics sector. With over 5000 employees, operating out of 45 locations,they service some of the best names in the retail commercial and industrial sectors.The Role To oversee the day to day operations of a chilled warehouse and distribution site. Manage the expansion of the existing site and customer services to include warehousing, distribution, security andmaintenance. Act as interface for key clients and sub contractors This is initially an interim role (6 months)but depending on the success of the candidate, may develop to a permanentposition.The Requirements Must have both Warehouse and Transport experience. Significant man and fleet management experience Experience within the food / FMCG sector, preferably chilled distribution, working to tight timescales. Experience of a unionised environment would be preferable. |
