Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor LeedsMWw 5716Our client is one of the largest UK building M&E contractors involved in commercial construction, PFI and health projectsand employs 1,600 staff nationally The client requires an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to be based from their office inNorth Yorkshire RoleThe role will be a permanent role with involvement in a variety of M&E projects up to GBP 20m, including laboratory work andwork in the Health sector.Skills You will have a minimum of 3 years Commercial experience A successful candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor with astrong contractor background A background in M&E is considered very important to my clientIf you are successful your duties will include;-Prepare tenders for submission-Produce cost allowable for each project-Manage subcontract appointments in accordance with a procurement schedule and appoint subcontractors-Set up and manage cost control meetings and valuation meetings and provide project cost feedback.-Manage project valuations and subcontractor payments-Produce materials schedules and allowable for project purchasing.-Manage accounting reconciliation for materials purchasedBenefitsGBP 27,000-GBP 32,000 per annum depending upon experience Company carPensionHealth InsuranceServices advertised by Project Resource Ltd are those of an agency and/or an employment business.
