Electrical Components, Relays, Solenoids, Internal Sales Executive, GBP 20 25K base, GBP 30K OTE. Our client offers an extensive range of products from over 35 different franchises. They are a stockist and distributor of electrical components, supplying manufacturers and service companies within the aerospace, military, medical, industrial and transportation markets throughout the world. Set up in 1956 and family owned, they are located in Horsham, West Sussex where we have a large sales office, warehouse and workshop facility. They partner with a number of world-class manufacturers to offer customers over 35 different franchise names and 10,000 product lines. Their product range includes: connectors, backshells, coaxial products, fans, fuses, lamps, lighting, LEDs, mains filters, relays, sensors solenoids and switches. Due to expansion and the introduction of new products to the market they seek a specialist Internal Sales Executive to join their impressive team. The company is a lively and growing stockist distributor with about 40 staff with many franchise agreements with major manufacturers of electro-mechanical components. You would be working in a specialist team and spearheading their development of new products and customers. You will need a technical understanding of switches, solenoids, EMI filters and similar electro-mechanical products and how they can be utilized and the ability to communicate effectively with design engineers and procurement professionals to achieve design approval and secure long term business. At least one years sales experience. To be well organised, a self-starter and competent with IT, email and internet. Responsibilities include: Responding to leads generated by marketing campaigns, identifying the requirements and providing the required information. Managing the sales cycle, supplying literature and samples, identifying customers requirements and working to meet them. Working with our key suppliers to identify new products and devise publicity to promote them in the market. Negotiating prices and achieving long term supply contracts. The job will be mainly office based but some travelling to customers anywhere in the UK. Remuneration will be by way of base salary of GBP 20 - 25K base with an OTE of 3GBP 30K+.
