Fantastic opportunity for multilingual salespeople to join the global sales team at this market-leading & highly-successful distributor of mobile phones with very aggressive international expansion plans. My client has a truly meritocratic multicultural work environment.Language skills required are fluent English plus fluency in at least one of the following : French , Italian , Arabic , Spanish , German, Russian, Mandarin Chinese.MULTILINGUAL INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGERS : JOB SCOPE- The main focus of this job is to sell mobile phones for a profit whilst hitting a monthly Net Profit Target. You will need to be experienced at cold-calling on the phone & also possess absolute fluency in the specified languages. 1. Market development - assessing potential trading opportunities for international markets by identifying: Who are the key traders in that market? Is it logistically possible to ship to that market? Are there altenative routes? What are the potential barriers / opportunities? Are there any export or local import barriers? How efficient is the banking system (for payment purposes)? Summarise via SWOT analysis to determine trading opportunities. 2. Qualification of potential customers from existing databases, and identifying new contacts for markets that are deemed feasible for trading from above. Objective is to establish quality leads who will agree to our client's terms of business. Criteria may include accessories turnover, years in trading, sales potential based on reviews of their target prices for stock they require assessed over a period of time. Also profiling of potential customers to acquire a clear background on the customer: Are they on D&B? What brands and models do they buy? Where do they buy from? What are their main markets? 3. Setting Up Customer Accounts Obtain necessary paperwork to set-up quality leads. Regular contact to establish stock requirements (and also identifying opportunities from them to buy on our client's terms). Quotation of stock to potential customers and putting together deals. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Language skills required are fluency in English plus fluency in at least one of the following other languages : French , Italian , Arabic , Spanish , German, Russian, Mandarin Chinese.Previous sales experience is ESSENTIAL. Excellent time management skills. Planning and organisational skills. Ability to keep cool under pressure. Motivated by targets. Excellent problem-solving skills. These positions are based in Cheshire, UK but some international travel may be involved. Exceptional salary reviews are the norm for the top performers with this client.
