My client a leading IT recruitment consultancy established over 20 years with a turnover in excess of GBP 95 million requirea team leader for their European division based in London.Job Purposei. To achieve personal and Team annual sales quota and other targets and performance levels set and agreed with the SalesDirector.ii. To provide training, supervision and leadership to the sales team within your area.iii. To canvass, on a daily basis, companies within the sales territory which have been identified as possible users ofcontract staff with a view to placing contractors in available positions.Principal Accountabilitieso Guide and support the Sales Team in all areas of sales, to aid the achievement of personal and Team objectives.o To ensure that all Team members including the Sales Researchers, canvass on a daily basis, companies within theirvertical market space, seeking out new business. This will be within the method of approach as detailed in Company 'Rulesof Engagement'.o Make the requisite number of sales calls as necessary to maintain an acceptable pipeline of prospective clients.o To arrange sales meetings on a consistent and regular basis as directed by the Sales Director to undertake the sellingof the company's services in respect of the company's modus operandi.o To assist the Bid Manager where required, in the process of responding to ITT's received from companies within theallocated sales territory.o To endeavour at all times when in contact with the clients or prospective clients to obtain current and/or futurerequirements. To evaluate such requirements and to initiate, by discussions with the Sales Consultants either bytelephone or meeting, all necessary procedures, to allow prospective candidates to be contacted without undue delays.
