Job description:A leading Global IT Services and Outsourcing provider is looking for Java and J2EE Developers to be based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are looking for experienced Java/ J2EE Developers to work on a specific project following the RUP methodolgy. Working closely with the Java Technical designers you would be expected to implement & test allocated Java components of the proposed solution. Essential skills: :Experienced to industry Java development standard Minimum 3 years experience of Java development, J2EE, UML, OOAD ,BEA Weblogic 6.1/7.0/8.1 (or Similar) Proven analysis and design skills Knowledge of XML and Systems Life Cycle, especially rapid application development methodologies Sun certified. Preferred: Experience of JMS, EJB 2.0, BEA Weblogic Commerce Server or Portal Server, SQL, Oracle, XML, HTML, SAX, DOM Parser, XSLT, UNIX, JUNIT, ANT Familiar with Rational Rose, Clearcase, Rational Unified Process, iRUP MS Office applications knowledge The successful candidate will also have;- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, with a position can do attitude Good negotiation skills, well organised and proactive Analytical skills, decision making, forward thinking |
