A Java developer is required to work on a high use, high availability product. This is a very complex application and requires technically astute people who can build highly scaleable web applications. You must have experience of developing n-tier solutions and applications in Java, JSP & XML and be familiar with coding to J2EE standards. You should also have a sound knowledge of application servers such as JBOSS or WebLogic. The website incorporates a large database at the back end so you must also be familiar with either Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL. The company are expanding so there are plenty of opportunities to progress both your career and your development skills |
