Junior & Senior Software Engineers Cambridge (IT Software Engineer Developer Programmer Unix Linux C++ TCP/IP) isrequired by this Cambridge technology company within an exciting growth industry. This is a global company with its UKheadquarters in Cambridge and they are at the cutting edge of their market.You will need to be an enthusiastic and confident programmer with a good academic record who is looking for an excellentopportunity! This is your chance to join a rapidly expanding company developing a market-leading product for globalcustomers.You MUST have: Minimum 2:1 from a prominent university (in IT or a related subject). Experience with system level C and C++ programming in a UNIX / Linux environment. Experience of commercial software development. Experience of network protocols and socket-level network programming. Ability to speak to technical minded clientsDesirable: Sound knowledge of low-level networking such as TCP/IP Low level Linux/UNIX knowledge such as Kernel development Experience of User Interface Design MySQL and Perl Knowledge of network hardware configuration and servers Experience of writing network server applicationsLocation: Cambridge, East Anglia.Salary: GBP 25k - GBP 45k dependent on experience + Fantastic Benefits |
