: Our client is a retailer of the highest pedigree. They are currently going through something of a transformation with increased focus on fashionability - which is already starting to reap rewards. This post has arisen out of this period of change. The Junior Buyer level is very much a step-up from an Assistant Buyer with the Junior having a lot of influence over the direction of the range. Responsibilities will include: Contributing to development of department strategy with Buyer in line with corporate objectives to maximise performance of business Understanding and collating all available market data to identify trends and assess competition to ensure delivery of optimum product offer Assisting in sourcing and development of commercial opportunities to maintain a unique selling proposition for company to maximise profit and manage risk Identifying and recommending potential sources of supply capable of delivering appropriate product propositions and business partnerships Should you currently be an Assistant Buyer or Junior Buyer with significant accessories experience and feel that you are ready for a role with more responsibility and opportunities, then this role could offer what you are looking for.
