The Client:Our client is world renowned for the manufacture of a range of Pumps primarily utilised in clean and dirty waterapplications, plus automotive and military markets.The product range includes submersible, self priming, diaphragm, centrifugal, internal gear and other specialist pumps.The company offers a specialist service and can accommodate a wide variety of material selections.In addition to manufacturing Pumps they also provide an M&E service to Major Water companies and other industrial users.They have been established in the UK for 150 years and now have facilities throughout the world.Duties & Responsibilities Generate quotations Maintain customer database Develop & maintain strong customer relationships & contacts Establish, implement & maintain a network of distributors Identify new markets Forecast quarterly sales Play an active part in the strategic development of the Industrial Pump business Maintain strong lines of communication Awareness and understanding of competition Initiate & encourage continual improvementKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Product knowledge Sales & commercial expertise Negotiation skills Identifying & understanding market trends Listening to customers Understanding customer requirements Providing excellent customer service Working as part of a team Ability to work unsupervised Self starter Energy & enthusiasmCredentials & Experience [Minimum] HNC qualified At least 3 years sales experience Strong engineering background Robust understanding of the logistics supply chainRowe & Co.
