Qualifications1st degree in Landscape Architecture or related subject;An associate member of the Landscape Institute;A full current UK driving license.SkillsAbility to develop landscape and urban design based projects and EIA work;Design flare;Good analytical skills as applied to landscape and design matters;Strong graphic representation skills (manual and computer);Good writing style and ability;Computer literacy including the use of AutoCAD, Excel, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office and preferably graphicsapplications;Ability to work to meet deadlines.Personal QualitiesAbility to work well in a team and co-ordinate the input of others;Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team;Commitment to personal and continuing professional development;Ability to cope with change;Ability to develop innovative solutions to everyday problems;Knowing when to intervene;Confidence in presenting ideas, projects to groups and individuals etc.Financial AccountabilitiesThe post-holder is required to be aware of the basics skills relating to the management of projectprofitability and expenditure.Experience:An appreciation and understanding of the professional requirements for the practice of landscape architecture and urbandesign.KnowledgeAll round knowledge of technical and best practice relating to landscape and design matters;All round knowledge of landscape and urban design relating to new developments, existing buildings and spaces and EIAwork.
