Following a programme of positive change andrestructuring they have identified the need to recruit an exceptional Logistics Controller to provide exceptional,industry leading Customer Logistics Service at lowest cost consistent with their supply chain strategy.Forming part of the Senior Management Team the role will report directly to the Logistics Director. This appointmentoffers the opportunity to manage major change, operational challenges, strategic projects and the realistic opportunityto become the next Logistics Director.Responsible for the end-to-end supply chain for the largest division within the logistics department: Management of 4 direct and 35 indirect reports Inventory management at all manufacturing sites, full inventory (all own and factored brands) management throughout thedistribution network Procurement of all factored products including supplier management Planning (in-house and contract), scheduling, planning, VMI Contract management, performance control and service delivery for the distribution contract Customer service reviews, delivery of customer service initiativesTo be considered for this appointment, you will be degree educated and possess a highly progressive career withinlogistics with broad to the end-to-end supply chain management. You will have worked within the manufacturing industryacross food, beverage / liquid filling or FMCG.
