Major Account Manager (New Business)Based in LondonOTE GBP 80K - GBP 100K + CarOur client is a leading provider of Voice, Data and IP network services to Corporate and Multinational customersglobally. Due to growth they are now looking to strenghen there London based corporate sales team.You will be responsible for prospecting, developing and growing business with major enterprises in the UK. No specificvertical but emphasis on Finance / Pharmaceutical / Hi Technology.Products include Data, IP-VPN, VoIP, Internet Access, IPL, Voice. Required to meet or exceed the sales targets allocated. To build strong and effective relationships at a senior (and other relevant) level with customers, third parties andcolleagues. To create and action short, medium and long-term account planning to achieve revenue/product goals. To produce and complete all required information, documentation and procedures for customers, management and colleaguesand to resolve issues/problems and uncover/exploit business opportunities. To coordinate, communicate, contribute and respond in a team environment with management and colleagues effectively,positively and enthusiastically and to support and abide by the Management's standards of professionalism, credibilityand work ethic.Position Requirements: A minimum of 4 Years recent telecommunications sales experience (Voice, Global Data, IP, ATM/Frame Relay, etc.) Must be a strong team player with a commitment to value-based leadership. Self-starter with experience and desire to acquire new business. Adept at prospecting, funnel management and closing business. Strong Data, Voice, IP and/or Managed Services competencies are required. Must demonstrate proven success as a top sales performer, consistently exceeding quota. High level of Account Management and client interface skills. Advanced presentation skills. Expertise in sales opportunity analysis and proposal development. Strong closing skills critical - in-depth understanding of client business drivers, strategy and buying cycles.Supplementary Information: Uncapped Commission Accelerators in place for over achievers Flat Management structure with everyone reporting directly into Area Vice President Account Managers are expected to do manage their own administration Although the role is called Account Management it is to all intents and purposes New Business Development It is thought ideal candidates wont of been out of the a similar role for more than 6 months. Ideal candidates will not live too far from the City base Ideal candidates will not have too many commitments that will affect their ability to carry out the role to the best oftheir abilities. Ideal candidates will come from a similar role with a competitor, with experience dealing with blue chip corporationsand closing deals in a highly competitive market place.Remuneration: Base salary negotiable around GBP 35K - GBP 50K dependant on experience Commission is uncapped but will be targeted at around the same as their base There is a car allowance Pension Scheme Private Healthcare
