Applicants must be willing to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK if requested.Brief Description:This individual is responsible for leading, developing and managing the northern European and French public relationsprograms.Responsibilities:Taking into account global trends from relevant company departments, develop key messaging themes in coordination withthe global PR program.Working closely with the global Public Relations and Investor Relations teams, synchronize local messaging, programs andrelationships with global programsGenerate opportunities for and draft all press releases (English and French as locally required),Publishing press releases,Proactively managing industry analyst relationships as key company regional interface,Proactively managing trade press relationships as key company regional interface,Obtaining speaking slots at key regional industry trade shows, conferences, exhibitions and forums through coordinationwith the European Marketing Specialist.Attending and representing the company at Tier 1 industry trade shows, including booking interviews with industryanalysts and trade pressMaintaining up-to-date regional analyst/press databases.Serving as a resource to the entire local company teams to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness of information.Requirements:University degree in business or similar field from a leading U.K., U.S. or European universityFluent English with an excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writingFluent French language skills, verbal and written; fluent Italian language skills a plusExtensive working knowledge and experience with all Microsoft software applications, in particular Word, Excel, andPowerpointBased out of the U.K. office in York (London location to be considered); willing to travel to Germany or within Europeapproximately once per monthTwo or more years experience in a media, analyst and/or public relations position with a business-to-business focusrequired. Minimum one year in a global environment recommended, with high-tech industry experience preferred.Proven ability to develop relationships with numerous interfaces externally and internallyProven strong organizational and project management skillsPositive, friendly, outgoing and confident personalityWell-rounded, a "self-starter" and highly motivatedAble to grasp complex issues quicklyenergetic and resourceful team playerPro-active worker with an attitude of continual learningPragmatic and professional by nature with ability to establish and meet deadlinesReputation as a 'producer' with a creative mind to develop concepts and bring them to completion |
