As Manager of Development Activities your key responsibility will be the management, planning, organisation and delivery of the Systems Engineering MSc programme. You will act responsibly with regard to the Company's Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards. You will display the right attitudes and behaviours to deliver the company and departmental missions, visions, business and operational strategies and provide support and advice to individuals and their line managers with regard to competency matrix and pathways. You will be working with line management to maintain and develop the competency matrix for all engineering and systems division roles and facilitate, advise and provide support to those involved with the MSc programme. With an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering background, you will be a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Certificate in Training Practice (CIPD CITP), with a degree or ONC/HNC with relevant experience in a technical subject. You will have a knowledge of academic institution procedures, protocols and systems of learning, roles required in a Warhead Engineering environment and knowledge of financial systems. You should have experience in an engineering or academic environment, including involvement in Training and Development aspects with weapon systems experience and experience in the management of budgets.
