Description:

A sound engineering background with extensive knowledge of CNC programming, jig and tool design and experience ofmanufacturing techniques is essential. As well as being computer literate, knowledge of CAD and CAM is also required.Duties will include numerous engineering activities, many of which will incorporate different CNC and conventionalmachining techniques such as Turning, Milling, Grinding and Honing as well as surface preparation and finishingprocesses. An analytical approach to problem solving, as well as the creation of detailed Process Specifications andEngineering Controlled documents will also be a requirement of the role.A close working relationship with Development, CAD, QA and Manufacturing Engineers will be expected, within amulti-disciplined team. Orthopaedics is a highly regulated industry; therefore all project work must be managed in athorough and professional manner.
