Description:

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their team. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for preparing machine shop layouts and ensuring processes are up-to-date and in line withengineering and production requirements to ensure the efficient and effective operation of their production facility.The candidate will have extensive production experience, preferably in machine shop and hydraulic assembly operations,with a core base of skills to progress innovation and forward thinking in an aggressive environment where quality andcustomer requirements are paramount.You will have previous experience in modern Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques. In addition, the ability toclearly identify opportunities and utilise a large team of players to ensure all facets of production are clearly thoughtthrough, in order to improve and maintain performance in terms of cost and delivery.The successful candidate will be educated ideally to degree level, with excellent communication, leadership andman-management skills. You will need to be reliable and flexible as well as a self starter.
