: Our client is a supplier of bonding equipment. They are a recognised specialist in their niche field and are currently seeking a Manufacturing/Operations Manager to be responsible for managing the production of the equipment - managing its design, fabrication, commissioning, servicing and customer support activity, as well as managing the small team of staff involved in this. You will also be responsible for purchasing & maintaining the stock of all components and updating the procedures for bonder assembly, testing and commissioning, ensuring compliance of equipment with relevant EC legislation & Health & Safety procedures. In addition you will oversee the after sales service i.e. installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of equipment. . The successful candidate will require a Science or Engineering degree, coupled with experience of electrical and mechanical design and hands on assembly experience of electrical/mechanical equipment, together with practical knowledge of either semiconductor or vacuum equipment & instrumentation.
