Current business operations expansion and product / manufacturing process improvement.Main Function of Job: (Note: In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as mayreasonably be required)To Oversee the assessment and on-going implementation of manufacturing process improvement with a specific responsibilityto manage all product data via ongoing improvement to product data management systemsMain Duties / ResponsibilitiesA Product Data Management PDM role Assist in product configuration and longer term take full responsibility Assist inrunning change control system and longer term taking responsibility for overall Create product structures Review andupdate structures within PDM system inline with engineering requirements Take input from component engineering and issuenew part numbers Applicant must be fully conversant with Engineering Change Request ECR, Manufacturing Change Order MCO,and Engineering Change Order ECO process within electronics industry Take raw data input appraise data and create ECO,ECR and MCOs as required to support business Ability to self manage and adjust to changing business needs as requiredwhile ensuring that the product integrity is never compromised Liaison with EMS to ensure manufacturing has current andcorrect build standards for product at any time Administration of the PDM system in Our client and the control of userroles and privileges
