Our client is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of cleaning equipment, producing a comprehensive and broadselection of products for private households, commercial users and industry.The purpose of the role is to plan and implement sales drives and marketing activities in order to meet company targetsfor growth retention and profitability and to contribute to the executive management team of the company.1. Plan and implement marketing commercial & retail strategy, including advertising and PR.2. Plan and implement new customer acquisition and customer retention activities.3. Plan and manage sales and marketing resources according to agreed budgets.4. Contribute to formulation of policy and strategy.5. Develop an optimal MarComs structure, entailing the recruitment, management, training and motivation of the team.6. Develop and maintain relevant reporting and planning systems.7. Select and manage external agencies to include international brand management teams.8. Manage end user pull campaigns to support new business development.9. Work with Commercial account managers to develop marketing planning with key dealers.10. Maintain and develop corporate image and reputation, and protect and develop the company's brand via suitable PRactivities and intellectual property management11. Plan and manage internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities12. Liaise with the marketing departments of major retail and National customers to ensure correct brand management andpromotional positioningYou:3 years' commercial & retail Marcoms experienceA minimum of 3 years' Direct Marketing/Customer segmentation experience someone who understands the benefits of datastrategyAgency management experience above and below the line.Graduate calibreGerman speaking an advantage, but not a requirementThis position requires travel within the UK and in Europe (20%)
