Our client is an industry leader building smart carrier networks through an innovative combination of signalling,switching, and applications. Their customers include telecommunications carriers, network service providers, and contactcentre operators.We are looking for a Market Development Manager to work closely with our client's sales team to develop direct andindirect sales strategies for major wireless accounts and channel partners. The successful candidate will have worked fora major wireless operator or vendor and have a background in market development, OEM channel management, networkoperation, network design or technical sales. Ideally you will have experience of multi-media gateways in wirelessapplications.Key skills and experience :- Minimum of 10 years experience in market development, wireless systems engineering, switching PLM, next generationtechnology and pre-sales support. Understanding of the dynamics of wireless core networks and the impact of mobility on network design and engineering,in order to be able to get engaged with various organisations (technology, planning, engineering, and operations) withinwireless operators. Excellent contacts in the European wireless market sector. Solid knowledge of 2G and 3G Core network architectures. Excellent commercial awareness and good interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop relationships. Willingness to travel extensively throughout Europe and to the US. Educated to degree level or equivalent standard. |
