Job PurposeProvision of a range of Engineering Services Design to external and internal customers in the nuclear, commercial andindustrial sectors.Services to include conceptual and detailed design, technical consultancy and project management in pursuit ofprofessional excellence and the aims and objectives of our client.Role & ResponsibilityReport directly to the Line Manager within the Mechanical and Electrical Services team and carry out the full range ofprofessional tasks and services to meet client requirements to the highest standards. All in full compliance withlegislation, regulations and current Codes of Practice, within budget and to client driven timescales.Develop and maintain good customer relations when responding to enquiries or implementing projects.Key CompetenciesSkills:Ability to maximise business from existing customers by understanding their needs and creating awareness of our clientservices and range of skillsComputer literateAbility to train and develop othersExperience of software packages. Autocad, Hevacomp and Microsoft OfficeQualifications:Degree in Building Services Engineering [or equivalent]Chartered EngineerExperience:Minimum 10 years experience in design and implementation of mechanical and electrical building services installationsExperience of energy conservationExperience of condition and asset surveys of mechanical and electrical building services installationsInterpretation of customer requirements and preparation of concept and detail design drawings and calculations to meetthe needs of both internal and external clientsComprehensive knowledge and application of regulations, legislation, codes of practice and current design standardsapplicable to mechanical and electrical building services installationsPersonal Qualities:Develop and maintain good customer relations when responding to enquiries or implementing projectsAbility to work with a minimum of supervision and respond to the demands of time limited programmesFull driving licence |
