Our Client is an internationally recognised market leader in the innovative design of pneumatic conveying systems. Owing to continuous success in their field of industry they are in the position to supplement their team with a Mechanical Design Engineer.The ideal candidate will be educated to at least Degree Level, and have at least 2 years experience within a relevant industry background. It is essential that you possess a high level of IT literacy particularly in AutoCAD and MS office and be a self-starter and have strong analytical and communication skills.The roles Objectives are:Designing well engineered cost efficient material handling systems whilst managing both timescales and the budget within a project.The Provision of technical support when required to various areas of the company including Sales and Site Engineers.Key Tasks for the Role:Produce calculations for system sizing, airflows, and pressure drops.Produce contract drawings including, process flow diagrams, machine general arrangements, and pneumatic circuits.Produce contract documentation.Select and specify project specific equipment.The successful Mechanical Engineer will be eligible to work in the UK, be ideally located in the South Yorkshire Area, have a full driving license and be willing to travel overseas as part of the role.This is an exciting opportunity to develop a rewarding career in a forward thinking, established organisation.The salary is negotiable within the range GBP 20-26k PA depending on experience.The company offers 25 days annual paid leave in addition to statutory holidays.The standard working week is 37 hours.
