: QA Inspector / Mechanical Engineer South Wales. My client, who is a multi-national manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join their manufacturing plant in Bridgend. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded individual to join a highly successful, growing company, initially for 6 months, with the likelihood of full time employment depending on ability. Essential skills and day to day duties:- using metrology measuring equipment in a medium to light metal manufacturing environment, ability to read and understand technical drawings. You will have a background in mechanical engineering and most likely will have served an apprentiship. You will ideally have worked for a medical device manufacturing/engineering company or aerospace manufacturer ie. a precision manufacturing company. In this hands-on role you will be responsible for monitoring the quality and precision of highly critical medical devices.
