This is a key post as part of the External Relations team, consisting of a team leader, PR officer, fund-raising and administrative staff. The main duties of this role are: - Develop a media strategy to raise the profile of young people taking action for others including influencing youth media towards more pro-social coverage - Work with the PR Officer to prepare and implement media plans for the 3 youth and communities projects, agreeing key targets and messages. - Write press releases, information sheets and press packs publicising the youth projects events, programmes and policy statements - To act as media spokesperson for the Youth and Communities projects, as appropriate. - Work with project teams to prepare and implement marketing plans to promote project products and activities - including online promotion of youth web sites - Review the companies marketing activity and develop an organisational strategy. - Represent the Foundation in public forums, at conferences, seminars, events and meetings. - Contribute to, or produce promotional materials related to projectsYou must have a minimum of 2 years Marketing experience within the charity/ non profit sector, along with copywriting experience and good computer literacy.
