The Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will be involved in the design and development of control circuits for innovative mixed-signal high voltage CMOS ICs. The role will cover both Analog and digital IC design work from specification through to testing of circuits at wafer level. Key technical tasks will include working on the micro-architecture, design, verification and layout of a wide variety of genuinely mixed signal circuits, using state-of-the-art EDA tools.As this is a genuinely mixed signal role, suitable candidates could come from either an Analog or Digital design background, where they should be able to demonstrate a solidunderstanding of their design skills. In addition, candidates with an Analog leaning should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of digital design techniques and vice versa.Candidates will have a good degree in Electronic Engineering or similar, and should either have at least 2 years of experience in a commercial IC design environment or a PhD in a relevant area of microelectronics design. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate sound abilities in mathematics. |
