Overall purpose:The Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will be involved in the design and development of control circuits for innovativemixed-signal high voltage CMOS ICs. The role will cover both Analog and digital IC design work from specificationthrough to testing of circuits at wafer level. Key technical tasks will include working on the micro-architecture,design, verification and layout of a wide variety of genuinely mixed signal circuits, using state of the art EDA tools.Main tasks and responsibilities:1) Contributing to the micro-architecture of mixed signal control circuits2) Detailed design of both Analog and Digital circuits on CMOS3) Simulation and verification in the Analog, digital and mixed-signal domains4) Full custom layout, including chip assembly5) Documenting all designs for reference6) Wafer level testRole definition and level of authority:The Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer will work as a key member of the IC Design team on the companys innovative PowerICs. The Mixed Signal IC design Engineer will be expected to work closely with other members of the design team, andliaise with other people from other technical departments.This role is based at the companys office in Cambridge, UK. |
